安全公司:一個(gè)黑客聲稱他可以通過KodexGlobal獲取貨幣安全和Coinbase用戶數(shù)據(jù)

Hudson Rock, a provider of cybercrime solutions, revealed on February 5th that a hacker using the pseudonym "Tamagami" had claimed to have breached KodexGlobal, a secure network for communication between regulatory and law enforcement agencies. This network is also used by major tech companies such as Google, Meta, and TikTok, as well as cryptocurrency projects like Binance, Coinbase, Chainlink, Discord, and Fintech for law enforcement requests. The hacker was selling access to KodexGlobal accounts on breakachforums, allowing buyers to access user information from these companies. The hacker charged between $300 and $500 for each emergency data request (EDR) made on KodexGlobal, and promised interested buyers that they could "access any TikTok account and obtain the desired data within 8 hours" upon payment of $500. Tamagami accepted payment in any form of cryptocurrency and charged $500 for metadata requests as well.

A spokesperson for Binance stated that the findings of Hudson Rock's investigation did not necessarily represent a breach of popular cryptocurrency exchange systems. The spokesperson said, "Through robust documentation processes and continuous monitoring of any compromised accounts, we are still committed to protecting our users' data from any form of unauthorized access."
